What to Expect

What to Expect

Are you considering a first time visit with us or maybe it has been a while since your last visit? Listed below is some information about what to expect when you join us.

What to Wear

It’s Sunday morning and you are trying to decide what to wear on your first visit to Country Woods.  First things first … we care more about what’s happening on the inside rather than what clothes your are wearing on the outside.  On any given Sunday, you will meet people that are wearing their “Sunday best” along with others that are dressed casually in jeans and a t-shirt.

Child Care

Child care is available during Life Groups, the Sunday Morning Service and during Refresh.  Plan on taking a few minutes prior to LIfe Groups or the Worship Service to check in your children at the children’s desk.  Follow the link below to find out more about our Children’s Ministry:

Visit the Children’s Ministry page.

Life Groups (Sundays at 9 am)

Life Groups make up the heart of our church fellowship.  They are small groups of people who walk through life together, study God’s word together, and care for each other.  They are tight knit groups whose doors are always open to new members.  We can’t overstate how important it is to get plugged into a Life Group at Country Woods.  Feel free to visit our different  groups until you find one that fits you best.    Life Groups generally start between 9 – 9:30 am and finish between 10 and 10:15 am.  Follow the link below to find out more about our current Life Groups:

Visit the Life Groups page.

Worship Service (Sundays at 10:30 am)

At the conclusion of Life Groups, everyone gathers in the Sanctuary for a time of corporate worship that includes meeting new visitors, singing praises to our Lord, prayer time, giving of tithes and offerings and being challenged through the teaching of God’s word.  Although you can make a decision for the Lord at any time, we do offer a time at the end of each service where you can make those decisions public or just spend some time in prayer at the altar.  Our worship services usually finish up around noon or before.

* During most Sunday morning worship services, we do have a volunteer ASL interpreter signing for members of our deaf community.

Mid-week Refresh Service (Wednesdays at 6:15pm)

Our mid-week “Refresh” service meets in the Choir Room on Wednesday evenings at 6:15 pm.  This is a time of spiritual refreshing between Sunday services that is devoted primarily to prayer and the study of God’s word.  We regularly have guest speakers, snacks, and coffee.
