Kevin Smith was born in Yazoo City, MS. He and his wife Stacie were married on May 23, 1987 which was one week before starting Occupational Therapy School at LSU in Shreveport. He graduated in 1989 with a BS degree and has practiced OT ever since. They have 2 awesome children. Shelby was born in 1990 and currently works with Bass Pro Shops. Logan was born in 1993 and currently coaches baseball at West Memphis Christian Academy. Kevin enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with family. They moved to the Byram area in 1995 and joined Country Woods in 1996. He has taught several classes at Country Woods over the years, but currently teaches one of the Adult Men’s class. He became an ordained deacon in 2009 and still serves in that capacity. He was blessed enough to be able to serve on a mission trip to Honduras with Baptist Medical Dental Mission International. He is also a long time member of the worship ministry team where he currently sings in the bass section.
