About Tammie
Tammie grew up in Moss Point, MS and came to the Jackson area after graduating college. With a degree in Architecture, Tammie worked in the construction industry for 25 years. Directly after moving to the Byram area in 1996, Tammie visited a small church on the corner of Big Creek and Siwell and immediately felt God calling her to join this church family known as Country Woods Baptist Church. She began teaching the 3 year olds that year and has made it all the way to 5-6th graders where she has been since 2001. In 2012, Tammie was given the opportunity to join the church staff and loves the opportunity to serve the Country Woods family.
